Andrew, I enjoyed your story today and wanted to share one way I am trying to get to know other writers in Illumination. I’ve been overwhelmed when I scroll through the daily stories available to read.

So I decided to see which stories “neighbor” mine and introduce myself.

We are neighbors today.

My childhood home is still in the family. Mom still lives there following Dad’s passing. I have lots of good memories there.

But the house my wife and I first lived in, was torn down a couple of years ago to make room for a new gas station. That was a sad day and still makes me sad.
