Thank you Misa Ferreira de Rezende. It’s comforting to get validation for journaling from someone who does it.

My son suffers from adoption trauma. When he was in treatment, he had to journal. It was very hard work.

I asked his therapist why journaling. She said, “you can think a feeling, you can speak a feeling but if you really want to touch a feeling, you need to write.”

Journaling does work. Since his treatment, I have gotten into journaling. I’m taking baby steps but progressing.
