Let negative thoughts know they are not welcome.

Before you click away, hear me out. Should someone or some group dictate how you think? Of course not. But should your thoughts be policed?

Yes. By. You!

I believe we should all develop the discipline to police our own thoughts.

Don’t take my word for it. Solomon in scripture espoused this idea long ago.

Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. ~Proverbs 4:23

Are you policing your own thoughts?

Are you controlling what is allowed inside your head?

If not, why not?

Daily Doable: Anytime you find yourself thinking a bad thought, let that trigger these words:
NO TRESPASSING!
BEWARE!
DANGER!
WARNING!
KEEP OUT!

Let negative thoughts know they are not welcome. Police your thoughts!

I love the idea of the “No Trespassing” response to negative thoughts

We should absolutely be policing our own thoughts. After all, our thoughts and emotions drive our behaviors.
