About 50 miles from my house, is one of the most beautiful trails I have ever hiked. As you’re walking through a deep canyon, all of a sudden the area opens up to this huge rock formation cantilevering over a ravine.
The first time I saw it, I was speechless. The scale was overwhelming. I still can’t believe this is in Indiana!
As I looked across the ravine, I noticed this large vertical fissure in the rock. It’s to the right of the double-trunk hemlock tree.
It reminded me of an old hymn, “He Hideth My Soul.”
